Så var det då dags att lämna Björkenäs och styra mot Karlskrona, en sträcka på ca 25 sjömil. Idag är det en solig men ganska blåsig dag, 10-15 m/s, så vi räknar med en hel del vågor på vissa sträckor. Vi tar oss söderut, rundar Torhamns udde och tar ett kort stopp vid Långören. Fortsätter sedan till Svenö där vi lägger till och tar en välförtjänt fika. Vi fortsätter förbi Möcklö och ut mot Östra fjärden. Sedan går vi så nära land vi kan sista biten för att slutligen komma fram till Hästö, som är den nya hemmahamnen.
