Val av motor

Antingen blir det en ny diesel inombordare eller en äldre bensin om det går att få tag på. Helst vill jag försöka få tag på en äldre motor, gärna en Albin O-1 eller O-11. En diesel är lite tråkig, låter lite för modernt. Det är ett helt annat ljud i en äldre Albin. Dessa är även kända för att vara av väldigt bra kvalitet.

Originalet hade troligen en Göta som sedan har bytts ut mot en Albin O-11.

Problemet är väl att få tag i en O-11 i bra skick. Ibland kan man hitta på nätet men det är oftast renoveringsobjekt.Jag vill gärna ha med elstart då det blir mer lättskött. Batteri kommer ändå att finnas då jag funderar på att sätta in en liten vattenpump.
